My Role for Support
I acknowledge and accept that it is my responsibility as your Ayurvedic Natural Health Practitioner and Wellness Educator to…
Provide education, resources, professional guidance, and therapeutic services where appropriate and when requested by you.
Provide a safe structure for you to hear your inner wisdom and explore possibilities.
Listen deeply while being 100% engaged so you are heard and witnessed. I also observe with a beginner’s mind so that I can be open-minded to hearing without bias on my part.
Elicit solutions, strategies and accountability that will support you in moving forward to succeed in reaching your goals. This also means using a positive focus to keep our attention on what is working and expand from the place of success.
Give authentic and positive acknowledgement and support to assist you along your journey.
Highlight and support the expansion of your skills, tools, and creativity which you already possess by focusing on the parts that are magnificent.
Collaboratively work with other professionals who hold pieces of your wellness goals that are outside of my scope of practice.
Offer full confidentiality – all information will be held as confidential unless you state otherwise, in writing, except as required by law. Only with your permission will records be released or our work discussed with other health care providers.
Insurance coverage depends on your individual policy benefits so check with your plan. I do not directly file insurance but can provide appropriate documentation. Unfortunately, many complementary and holistic treatments are not covered by traditional insurance plans. However, you can often use money from your medical flex account or health savings account. As a Certified Ayurvedic Practitioner, I can diagnose and prescribe only from the Ayurvedic perspective of doshic imbalance but am happy to provide appropriate documentation to address the nature of our work.
To honor each client’s commitment and scheduling needs, I require 48 hours’ notice of cancellation for an appointment. If you do not call within this time frame, you will be charged the 2/3 the cost of the session. In booking an appointment, you are reserving that time. Sudden illnesses and emergencies will be taken into consideration.
Adding Time to your Session
If I have time available, you are free to add-on extra session time. Sessions will be billed for total minutes used so a scheduled 60 minutes + extra 30 minutes = 90 minutes charged.
Payments for all services and products are due in full at the time they are provided/purchased. Patient is responsible for all fees regardless of reimbursement or outcome of services provided. For your convenience cash, personal checks, and most credit cards are accepted. Medical flex account cards cannot be used. Returned checks will be charge a $35 fee.
Sessions include time coaching and Ayurveda assessments, sharing of goals and focus, exercises or education, and questions. If you are late, the session will still end at the scheduled time. If I am late starting the session, I will add on the extra time to our scheduled time if it works with your scheduling needs; if you are not able to stay later than your scheduled ending time, I will add the missing time to another session of you choosing.
My practice continues to grow through thoughtful clients like you referring family and friends. I sincerely appreciate you for recommending me and sharing the value you find in my work and have an incentive referral program. If you are interested, talk to me about the details. If you are inspired, I also post testimonials on my website – let me know if you are interested.
Contact Between Appointments
I am happy to answer short questions about current treatment and clarify instructions. If you have a new issue from what was covered in a previous session, please schedule an appointment for evaluation. Phone calls or emails requiring more than 15 minutes with incur a consultation fee.
How Much Time Will I Need To Get Better?
For each person, depending on the nature of their conditions, the amount of time needed will be different. Initially appointments will be closer together to effectively support changes and, if doing Ayurveda Wellness, adjust herbs to accommodate your shifts in health. As you reach greater balance and feel confident about implementing your self-care regimens, appointments will be spread further apart until only updates or seasonal adjustments are needed. As your practitioner, I will continue to monitor your state of balance/imbalance and guide you back towards health, offering educational as well as treatment resources so that you are also learning what to do to stay healthy. As such, I act as teacher, coach, cheerleader, guide and your number one supporter. But it is you that does the work and your results will only be as effective as what you do yourself. Together I will guide the process so it stays manageable, engaging and effective and with your work optimal health can be achieved!
