Guacamole is a versatile dip.  It can be used as a topper to a variety of foods and meals as well as a snack dip on it’s own.

Avocados are heavier by nature but are useful for healing if your agni or digestive fire is good.  Avocados are a good source of a healthy fat, acting as a nutritive and builder for the tissues as well as moistening your system.  They are also a rich source of potassium and vitamin E.

This guacamole recipe lowers vata, is neutral for pitta if garlic is omitted, and increases kapha slightly.
